LogAnalyzer 3.0.1 (v3-beta) released

Hi all,

We have just released LogAnalyzer 3.0.1. The new release has the following changes:

– Fixed record height issue when “Show Onlinesearch icons within fields” option was enabled
– Added support to automatically add missing fields in Mysql and PDO Logstreams. Currently MySQL and PostgreSQL are support only
– Error details of logstream sources will now be shown on detail.phppage as well

Where to put the plugins for LogAnalyzer?

From time to time, there will be new plugins available for Adiscon LogAnalyzer. If a older installation is used, new plugins will not be integrated automatically. Using the reports module

The reports module is new with version 3 of LogAnalyzer. It supports HTML and PDF output and can be fully parameterized. For example, Adiscon LogAnalyzer can be used to analyze user account logons over a specific time frame, system and network errors can be identified or a status report of the whole network be generated. And at it bests: once configured, reports can be sent automatically by email in a daily, weekly or custom interval. Continue reading “Using the reports module”

– All references to phpLogCon have now been renamed to LogAnalyzer, which will be the new name for the phpLogCon project from now on.
– Added initial implementation of the new Report engine along with two free reports called “EventLog Summary” and “Syslog Summary”
– Autoreload time in admin panels is now configureable.
– Added Read-Only User functionality.
– Added Updatecheck functionality for future update notifications.
– Fixed alignment of formfields in all admin panels.
